World Tai Chi Day, Birmingham Botanical Gardens, 28.4.18 at 10.30am

Saturday, April 28th is the date for this year and once again we shall start at 10.30am. The rest of the world starts at 10 am, but being as the Botanical Gardens don’t open the doors until 10 am, I think we should start half an hour later.

We are being allowed free entrance to the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston again so make sure that you get your free tickets, either in class or by emailing or calling me up. This is a chance for existing members, potential new class members, family and friends to come along to the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens and get a taste of a number of elements of tai chi, as there will be lots of different groups doing different things. As usual, we will cater for all abilities, and all will be welcome.

You can invite friends and family along as the day is about letting people see the gardens as well as doing some Tai Chi, but make sure you get tickets for them as well. I will shout it out in class as soon as we get the tickets.

You can practise your Form, and people will be teaching the three sections on the day. You can also have a go at Stick Form, as we will be running Stick School again. If you would like to try the Fan I am going to ask Samantha back again to run her Fan Workshop. Beginners can do the basics with Fleur and the Teapot Monk, who we are delighted and honoured to have in attendance.

And if you are new to Tai Chi and just want to find out what it’s all about in some fantastic surroundings amongst friendly people, this is just the event for you.

The address is Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 3TR. See you on the lawns!!!
